Hands-On Arts was started by Jennifer Lynch, an artist frustrated by not having outlets to display and/or sell her developing body of work. As a student, her living space was overwhelmed with current and past projects. Being a creative person, her style and material choices were ever changing, and she found she was running out of space quickly.
Eventually, she ended up giving many of her pieces away to friends and family who had an interest in her work.
After visiting a tiny art town in Kentucky, which was completely focused on its art college and promoting the students and their work, the consignment idea for Hands-On Arts was born.
Hands-On Arts is not only a great place to find handmade gifts and home decor, but it's also the perfect place for budding artists to display and sell their work.
